Business anthropologists use their knowledge of human cultures to gain consumer insights, improve organizational culture, and co-create human-centered designs. She has extensive experience spearheading learning development strategies, organizational culture transformation, and research excellence across diverse industries, and has developed and delivered instructional content in both corporate and academic settings for over 20 years. She’s passionate about evaluating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) opportunities and devising strategies to foster inclusive environments through action plans and educational initiatives, serving as a trusted advisor to executives, and recognized for synthesizing complex research into actionable insights that shape business outcomes and propel innovation.
Erica Vogel, MBA
Erica Vogel is the author of Advice from Your Trans Aunty and LGBTQIA2S advocate. She has spent the majority of her life solving a wide variety of trials and tribulations as both a closeted and out transgender woman. Drawing from her experiences, her education, and her interactions with thousands of transgender people, she provides a point of view focused on personal agency as a transgender individual. Described as resilient, authentic, and fearless, she meets people where they are with grace and warmth.
Erica is a twenty-year design and product management technology veteran of startups to Fortune 25 companies with a MBA in Business Leadership and Management and a DEI certification. She is queer, a wife, a parent, and a member of a family with strong LGBTQIA roots. Her recent tenures in tech also include serving on the national leadership team of corporate LGBTQIA employee resource groups with 5,000 members and as a board member of a transgender-focused tech non-profit. She is a frequent public speaker on trans affairs in and out of workplaces across the United States.
